In 2012, Scott Specker left a stable corporate career working on one

of the largest accounts at Nielsen to pursue entrepreneurship. What

started as a leap of faith became a 12-year journey building two

successful home service companies in North Georgia.

In this session, Scott shares the real story behind the transition

from corporate life to entrepreneurship—what worked, what failed, and the lessons learned along the way. Attendees will hear how building strong systems, developing people, and leveraging technology can transform a small service business into a scalable operation.

Scott will walk through the practical frameworks he used to grow from early uncertainty to thousands of completed projects, including how to build repeatable processes, empower teams, and maintain customer experience at scale.
