April 20: Free Shred and Electronics Recycling Event at St. Thomas More Church and School in Decatur
National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) Georgia Celebrates Earth Day with Free Neighborhood Shred Event with Electronics Recycling Opportunity for Decatur Community
Saturday, April 20, 2024, 9 - 11 AM, (or until truck is full) at St. Thomas More Church and School, 630 Ponce De Leon Ave. Decatur GA 30030.
Professional organizers from NAPO-Georgia (NAPOGeorgia.com), EcoShredding of Atlanta, Data Delete Recycle, and St. Thomas More Church and School are partnering together to provide community members with this free opportunity.
Members will accept four boxes of paper per car for free shredding (while space remains available in the mobile shredding unit)
Electronics recycling will be available (some items require a small fee to recycle)
Shredding should be free of all paper clips, metal clips and any binding materials
Electronic recycling will accept computer, printing and gaming equipment, household electronics, etc.
Monitors and TVs will include a processing fee of $25-$40 based on screen size.
