Bio
David Ewert is Professor Emeritus of Finance and Director Emeritus of the Executive MBA program at Georgia State University. While director, its program achieved a top-ten ranking in Business Week's Guide to the Best Executive Education Programs. He was one of the founders that established the Executive MBA Council, an international association of 100+ colleges and universities, became president and chaired its board.
Previously, he held professorships at Purdue University and San Jose State University. He has taught executive seminars around the world. He received a PhD in finance from Stanford University, an MS in finance from the University of Minnesota, and a BS in industrial engineering from Iowa State University. At the Harvard Business School, he attended the Ford Foundation summer program for finance professors starting their careers.
Currently, he is cofounder/past president of the Georgia Association of Higher Education Retiree Organizations and makes presentations for the Alzheimer’s Association-Georgia as a Community Educator.
